Take a look at this roofline replacement we completed in Chingford, updating the fascia, soffit, guttering and all necessary downpipes at the front and back of the property. The job involved removing all the old timber roofline so we could get to the rafter feet underneath. Any that had seen better days were repaired, so the new boards had a solid fixing.
We fitted high-quality 18mm white UPVC fascia and 10mm white UPVC soffit, along with new guttering and downpipes. For this particular property, black half-round guttering was the best fit, smart, simple and does the job well, but we always offer choice depending on what suits the property best.
Eaves ventilation was included as standard to help airflow into the loft, and we fitted drip trays and bird combs where needed. The job was carried out using our own access equipment, so there was no need to arrange scaffolding separately. It took us around two days from start to finish.
As always, everything was cleared up once the work was done, all old materials and rubbish taken away, and the area left clean and tidy.
This job comes with a 10-year guarantee, but as we always mention to our customers, we’re always at the end of the phone if anything crops up. It matters to us that people feel they can come back to us if they need to.
Since completing this job, we’ve also replaced the customer’s windows and they’re now booked in for rebedding the ridgeline and some chimney rendering. We’ll share an update on those jobs another time.
