We recently carried out a roof clean and a few small repairs on a property in Chelmsford.
This one included the front, rear, and lower front roof areas, all given a proper tidy-up and a little attention while we were up there.
The moss had built up quite a bit, so we got to work using scrapers and wire brushes to clear it all off. Once the tiles were cleaned by hand, we gave the surface a good sweep with a stiff broom to get rid of any leftover bits. No pressure washing was used, just old-school elbow grease.
While we were on-site, we replaced a handful of tiles and sorted out a few small roof repairs as part of the job. When customers book in a roof or roofline clean, we also take care of any minor repairs at the same time. It’s all part of the service and saves hassle later on.
We also installed 10 soffit vents on each side of the property. These were white uPVC vents, spaced out at 500mm intervals, helping to keep airflow moving properly in the loft space. Neat and tidy job and it’ll make a difference.
At the front of the house, the gutter had a minor issue, so we repaired that before we packed up. All work was done using our own access gear, and we left everything clean and tidy afterwards. Rubbish taken away, no mess left behind.
All done in a day.
