This project was carried out at a residential property in Elsenham and involved a full replacement of the fascia, soffit and guttering on all four sides of the house.
The work also included the porch and a small front bay window, ensuring the entire roofline was completed consistently across the property.
Removing the Existing Roofline
The existing fascia, soffit and guttering were fully removed, along with all necessary downpipes.
This allowed access to the rafter feet so they could be properly inspected. Where any sections were found to be affected by rot, repairs were carried out to provide a solid fixing for the new installation.
Installing New Fascia and Soffits
The replacement roofline was installed using white uPVC materials.
An 18mm fascia board was fitted, along with a 10mm soffit, providing a strong and clean finish across all elevations of the property.
All fascia boards were ventilated at the eaves to support airflow, and drip trays and bird combs were fitted where required.
Replacing Guttering and Downpipes
The guttering system was fully replaced to suit the customer’s chosen style.
New guttering and downpipes were installed to ensure effective drainage around the property.
Square or round guttering in black is typically recommended for this type of installation, depending on the preferred appearance.
Access and Installation Process
All work was completed using our own access equipment, allowing safe and controlled installation across all areas of the property, including the porch and bay window.
The site was kept clean and tidy throughout, with all waste materials removed once the work was complete.
Finished Result
The completed installation provides a consistent and well-finished roofline across all four sides of the property.
With new fascia, soffits and guttering in place, the roofline now offers improved protection and a clean, uniform appearance.
The customer also benefits from a 10-year guarantee on the roofline, along with ongoing support if any issues arise in the future.
