This project involved replacing the fascia, soffit and guttering across the front of a property in Harlow.
The installation features white uPVC fascia and soffit, paired with black round guttering and downpipes. Our photographs and video follow the work from the original roofline through the removal stage to the finished front.
Looking beneath the existing roofline
A roofline replacement involves more than changing the boards you can see from the ground.
Removing the existing fascia and soffit provides access to the timber beneath. This allows the fixing points to be checked before the replacement boards are installed.
The footage from this Harlow property shows that stage of the work, giving a closer view of an area normally concealed by the roofline.
White uPVC fascia and soffit
For this installation, the specification included 18mm white uPVC fascia and 10mm white uPVC soffit.
The fascia is the board along the roof edge where the guttering is mounted. The soffit closes the underside of the eaves, between the fascia and the property wall.
White uPVC was selected for both, with black round guttering and downpipes completing the installation across the front.

The completed roofline comes with a 10-year guarantee.
