Another roofline refresh completed – this time in Sawbridgeworth, where we replaced the fascia, soffit, and guttering to all lower level areas of the property, including the front, rear, and side of the garage, plus all three sides of the lower rear extension.
We began by removing all the existing fascia, soffit, and guttering, including the downpipes, to expose the rafter feet. This stage is important – it gives us a clear view of the timber underneath, so if anything needs repairing before the new materials go on, it gets sorted properly. As always, any rotten rafter feet were repaired to provide a strong, secure fixing for the new installation.
The replacement roofline was fitted using high-quality white uPVC – 18mm fascia and 10mm soffit. Ventilation was added at the eaves, and drip trays and bird combs were installed where needed to help keep everything dry and protected. For the guttering, we installed black half-round guttering and new downpipes. We also reinstated the existing spotlights so everything looked just as it should.
We used our own access equipment throughout the job, worked cleanly, and left the property tidy with all waste taken away at the end.
