SM Roofline recently completed a full roofline replacement at a residential property in Clacton-on-Sea. The work involved removing the existing fascia, soffit and guttering before installing new black uPVC fascia boards, white soffits, and new guttering and downpipes around the property.
The existing roofline had to be fully stripped back first to allow the new installation to be fitted securely and correctly.
Removing the Existing Roofline
The existing fascia, soffit and guttering were completely removed, including all necessary downpipes, to expose the rafter feet underneath.
Once exposed, the rafter feet were checked and repaired where required to make sure there was a solid fixing point for the new roofline installation.
This part of the job is important in creating a secure and long-lasting finish before any new materials are fitted.
Installing New Fascia and Soffits
The replacement roofline was installed using high-quality 18mm black uPVC fascia boards together with 10mm white uPVC soffits.
All fascia boards were ventilated at the eaves, and drip trays and bird combs were fitted where necessary as part of the installation.
The finished combination of black fascia and white soffits gave the property a clean and tidy finish while replacing the old roofline with new low-maintenance uPVC materials.
Replacing Guttering and Downpipes
As part of the installation, the guttering system was also fully replaced.
New black square guttering and matching downpipes were fitted to complete the roofline replacement and provide a consistent finish across the property.
Access and Installation
This installation was completed using SM Roofline’s own access equipment.
Once the work was finished, all rubbish and old materials were removed from site, and the property was left clean and tidy.

The completed work has provided the property with a fully renewed roofline system, including new fascia, soffits, guttering and downpipes.
The customer also received a 10-year guarantee on the roofline installation, along with SM Roofline’s number for life should they ever have any questions or concerns in the future.
